Unlike many of the land-based voluntary rescue teams, we do not get any Government assistance at all! Borders Water Rescue Team is a charity based in and providing services throughout the Borders and farther afield. We raise all our funds from a variety of sources for our essential services.
Donations or other financial help, from whatever source, and wheter large or small, is always gratefully received and put to good use. Team equipment is transported in a trailer on which a number of sponsors have advertising space. The sponsor, on an annual basis, purchases space, and sign writing is applied accordingly. Team equipment or clothing is also available for sponsorship. Any interested sponsors should contact the Team directly.
